What a day and a half! We have had very little sleep and many challenges along the way to getting here this Sunday. Bus trip to O´Hare was smooth, check in at the international terminal had only one glitch.......Sadie and Beth were not in the system properly to be issued tickets. It seems their ticket numbers were switched in the system and it took a bit of time to figure that out. But it was worked out. Flight to Coppenhagen was smooth, though extremely long. Flight from there to Gothenberg was a bit more exciting with some rollercoaster turbulence that gave the girls a few thrills. Then, we go to collect our luggage, and Liz couldn´t find her checked luggage on the carousel. We are still waiting for the airlines to find it and bring it to her. She does have what she needs to play tomorrow so all is well there. JUDY, if she needs anything else we will be sure to get it for her.Coach then took the girls to the school where they will be housed during the tournament. We parents went to our hotel and checked in. The school situation for the girls is quite interesting. They are the only girls team housed on the main floor with all other teams being boys. Needless to say they are getting quite a few looks from the guys! More to come later.
